House of Roro
Iggy Chair Leopard Spots
Iggy Chair Leopard Spots
Iggy with a hand painted furry coat. A fresh take on a beloved classic.
The striking coat of the leopard with its intricate rosettes are painted on the wetted bare plywood using a food grade vegan wood stain developed for House of RoRo by Audrey Louise Reynolds. The stain acts like a watercolor paint and blends into the wood fibers creating a furry effect. The wood is then coated with a natural or yellow satin wood oil. Each piece is numbered, made to order and entirely unique.

Colour Finishes
Colour Finishes
All our furniture is made from quality birch plywood with either a clear finish leaving the natural colour of the birch, or a variety of colour stains which still allow for the grain of the wood to remain visible.
We must have tested all the safe and nontoxic color wood stains out there and we managed to find a very pretty white, yellow and red to our likings.
Not for a minute did we want to limit your choice to those colours only, so we developed a series of fantastic stains with Audrey Louise Reynolds. She lives and works upstate New York and has created a series of future minded, food grade, vegan wood stains that are handmade from the safest most colourful materials available.
There is one of the richest blues I've seen made from indigo, a pink from dragon fruit, a sea green made from choloriboria fungi and more. First, we stain the raw plywood with the concentrated colour and we add a clear coat to seal the wood and guard the colour from UV.
We're showing a selection of the colours we offer here, when your preferred colour is not available on the product page please reach out with your request at hello@marmaladestore.com
